DOTA fans are waiting for some shows of DOTA 2 at E3 2011, but Valve just splashed cold water on them. IceFrog confirms at playdota forum that DOTA 2 won't be presented in this year's E3 as he says "E3 isn't really the right type of venue for dota2, we won't be there." In fact, Valve won't show a single game at E3 2011, which means that games like Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and Half-Life 3 are still far away from the public.
DOTA 2 is the only Valve game at the moment that keeps giving you new information. IceFrog tells on playdota forum that DOTA 2 will continue to be 5v5MOBA on answering a fan's question. Besides, he confirms the picture below the servers for DotA 2 development testing. You can take a glimpse of how the DOTA 2 server looks like.
Announced in October 2010, DOTA 2 will use Valve's Source engine and contain the full roster of 100 heroes from DotA Allstars. The game is set to release in 2011.
